Art Project: The Uffizi

Week 2 of our Art Project home study course centred around a virtual trip to the Uffizi gallery in Florence. The Italian museum houses some of the most important Renaissance art including key works by Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Raphael, Titian and Caravaggio, as well a selection of modern art and artefacts from around the world. Artists were invited to take a trip through the building using Google Maps technology and take inspiration from the artists or artwork they encountered or the virtual space itself.
