Work on a new art project over two weeks, enjoy an online tutorial and get feedback on your work and progress, then see the work of other artists taking part in the project via access to an online gallery and stay connected to your Fine Art Room artist community.

This is the online version of our popular Art Studio course which takes place on a Monday afternoon in Ealing and a Thursday morning in Hemel Hempstead, where artists gather each week to work on a new assignment over two sessions.

Working on the same Art Studio brief, your assignment will arrive on a Sunday – work on it throughout the week and sign up for a Zoom  1-2- 1 tutorial for further feedback, advice and direction. You can also join in a Sunday evening Zoom group tutorial to find out more about your assignment plus discuss the brief with other participants and your tutor.

You’ll have two weeks to complete the assignment and once finished, you can submit your work to our online gallery and see what other participants have been making.

Course level:  the course is aimed at artists with previous drawing, painting and art-making experience. If you are a beginner, please look at our Learn to Draw course . If you are unsure of your suitability for the course, please get in touch.

Your course tutor: Mario Lautier-Vella has been teaching art since starting his teaching career in 2011.

A qualified art tutor and professional artist,  Mario’s award-winning work has been shown in a number of exhibitions in the UK and abroad. His work can be found in collections across the UK, the Netherlands, Malta, Australia, North America and Canada. Find out more
