Join us for a visit to the incredible V&A East Storehouse and the new V&A East David Bowie Centre to experience artefacts and life in a museum like never before…
Spanning three levels, enjoy an array of displays featuring some of the V&A’s most prized and surprising artefacts. As a working storehouse, you’ll also get a chance to see curators and assistants at work. Bring your sketchbook for the opportunity to draw in the space, or use the ‘Order an Object’ online service ahead of time and request to see something up close and personal…
There will also be time to visit the new David Bowie Centre (opening September 2025) which features three floors of curated displays comprised from over 80,000 objects donated by the icon’s estate.
Lunch will be on-site at the E5 Storehouse cafe which offers a selection of sandwiches and salads.

We will meet inside the main entrance of the V&A East storehouse at 10.30am.
The Social is free. However, you will need to pay for:
- Your travel to and from the V&A East Storehouse
- * Your meal and drinks at the cafe.
