Enjoy a full day drawing and researching in the wonderful Wallace Collection.
Spend quality time drawing, keep your skills in check and experiment with different styles and media in your sketchbook, taking inspiration from a host of objects and artworks in a stunning building.
From armour and artefacts to iconic paintings and the lavishly decorated rooms we’ll wander through, discover a host of inspirational objects and spaces to draw.
Whether you work figuratively or with abstraction, or you want advice on how to develop your work further, you’ll get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition. We’ll end the day with some time to look at and discuss our work.
Venue: The Wallace Collection, London
Your course takes place at The Wallace Collection, Hertford House, Manchester Square, London W1U 3BN. Nearest Tube Station – Bond Street (Central, Elizabeth and Jubilee lines). More info.
Course level: intermediate and advanced – some drawing skills essential.
Course materials: You will need a sketchbook (A4 or A3) and drawing materials. We will provide you with a suggested materials list once you’ve booked your place.
Your course tutor: Mario Lautier-Vella has been teaching art since 2011.
A qualified art tutor and professional artist, drawing in museums is a key part of Mario’s own practice. His award-winning drawings have been shown in a number of exhibitions around the world.
