The 250th Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy + dinner – SOLD OUT!

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the annual Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy – the chance for artists from across the country to exhibit their work alongside leading names and academicians in what is always a bumper, eclectic show.
This year’s exhibition has been coordinated by Grayson Perry RA and we can expect to see a wide variety of drawings, paintings, mixed media work, sculpture, prints, architectural models and a few surprises…
Meeting in the early evening, we will go into the Summer Exhibition together where you’ll get the chance to browse over 1200 works for around 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to take in the vast amount of work on show and sketch / take photos if you wish.
We will then meet up again to walk to our restaurant for the evening – Bill’s – where we can discuss what caught our eye in this year’s show. Bill’s is on Brewer Street and offers a range of dishes including gluten free options. It is approximately 15 minutes walk away in Soho. The restaurant is also a short walk away from Piccadilly Circus tube station.

Event details
We will meet in the courtyard of the Royal Academy around 5pm then go upstairs to the Summer Exhibition. Later we will regroup around 7.30pm and walk to the restaurant for dinner around 8pm.
The June Social is free. However, you will need to pay for:
- Your travel to and from The Royal Academy / Bill’s (nearest Tube station Green Park / Piccadilly Circus)
- Your Summer Exhibition ticket (see below)
- Your meal and drinks at the restaurant.
Your Summer Exhibition ticket
– Tickets for the Summer Exhibition are on sale now – you can buy your ticket in advance to save time and to ensure we get in.
– Please buy your tickets for the 5.30pm timeslot to allow extra time for delays / visits to the cloakroom etc.
– You can also join us for just the exhibition part of the evening if you don’t want to come to the restaurant afterwards
– Please let us know if you intend on coming to the exhibition and dinner or just the dinner before buying your exhibition ticket.
