A 10 week step-by-step drawing course that combines practical skills with key theory so you can draw with confidence.

Our Learn to Draw course covers everything you need to start drawing.

From drawing media and mark-making through to composition, perspective, measuring, proportion, tone, colour and more.

You will also discover various ways and styles of drawing. Explore and discuss drawings from prehistoric times, the Renaissance,  19th and 20th century artists and contemporary examples – all of which will inspire your own work. Handouts also provide you with additional information.

A small class size means you’ll get plenty of one-to-one tuition and feedback as part of a supportive, friendly group.

A number of our Learn to Draw students go on to our Learn to paint course –  we recommend that you begin your art training by learning to draw as you will feel more confident when painting.

Your expertise and knowledge is very inspiring and the course is certainly very well designed. You pack a lot in! My formal education lasted 19 years and I would say that I enjoyed your lessons more than any others I have had, with you as my teacher. Thank you for the inspiration, interest, fun and above all, huge enthusiasm and encouragement.” Clare

“You taught me so much through the duration of the course.  I can’t recommend you enough. Thank you!”, Stephen
