Our first UK art city break will take place in the stunning East Anglian city of Norwich and the picturesque seaside town of Cromer. Enjoy visits to Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery and Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts as well as 3-hour, tutored studio sessions.

Plus you’ll have free time to shop in the city’s famous Lanes and covered market, or relax by the River Wensum. We will also escape the city for a day at the seaside town of Cromer on the Norfolk coast where you’ll get time to explore, draw and paint outdoors or enjoy the wonderful seascape…

Enjoy a 5 day (Monday – Friday) drawing and painting city break in Norwich – with time for sightseeing, sketching / research time, 3 hour studio sessions plus free time for lunch, shopping or relaxation. Our day starts at 10am and ends at 5.30pm or 6pm (dependent on schedule)

Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery

Visit Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle Museum and Gallery and Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts as well as walks through the historic City Centre. Respond to your research in our studio space where you can draw, paint or create mixed media work.

You’ll also have free time for further research and exploring, shopping or time out to relax.

We will also travel by train to the coastal town of Cromer (approx. 40 minutes away) for a day by the sea, where you can take in the sea air, relax, take time to draw and paint outdoors or explore the town’s sites.

Cromer

Your studio sessions take place in a city centre venue so we’ll be a short walk away from our sightseeing / research venues that includes some storage for your art kits.

- - The price doesn’t include your travel costs to and from Norwich, to and from Cromer, accommodation, meals, entrance tickets or materials – so you can work with / plan within your budget and requirements – we can advise you on where to stay and what to bring
  - Due to ongoing visitor restrictions, friends or partners travelling with you will not be able to join us for site visits
  - We will explore Norwich on foot so you must be able to walk / stand for a long duration and be prepared to sketch whilst out and about.
