A popular 3 hour studio session where you respond to a set brief over 2 sessions, working with drawing, painting or a combination of your favourite media. Develop your creativity and take your art-making skills further…

The weekly art studio sessions allow you to explore your ideas and make fresh work in a fun and inspiring environment.

The Fine Art Room studio sessions centre around a set brief which takes place over two weeks – previous briefs have asked artists to respond to a still life arrangement, a specific theme, a particular way of working or your own interests and research.

Artists then work on their pieces over two sessions, creating drawings, paintings, collage or mixed media pieces. You can make a number of works or focus on a single piece over the two sessions.

The course also includes a research day where we visit a museum, gallery or site of interest for inspiration before responding in the studio.

Please note, due to venue restrictions, paintings can only be made using acrylic or watercolour.
