Explore different ways of drawing the figure with confidence using a number of techniques that concentrate on anatomy, proportion, structure as well as your own personal expression. We will be working with a live nude model throughout the session.
Venue: The Fine Art Room – Hemel Hempstead
Your course takes place at Bennetts End Community Centre in Hemel Hempstead. Bennetts End Community Centre is located at Gatecroft, Hemel Hempstead HP3 9LZ.
There are plenty of free parking spaces available at Bennetts Gate car park on a first-come, first-served basis as well as nearby on-street parking. Bennetts End is also served by a number of local bus routes. See map
Course level: beginners or anyone who wants to refresh their life drawing skills. Drawing experience useful.
Course materials: A course materials list will be sent upon booking. Paper will be provided.
Your course tutor: Mario Lautier Vella has been teaching life drawing for a number of years, helping artists of all levels develop their skills further. Life drawing is a key part of his own art practice and has inspired a number of drawings and paintings that have been exhibited both in the UK and abroad.
