Our popular 3 hour studio session course where you respond to a set brief over 2 sessions, working with drawing, painting or a combination of your favourite media. Develop your creativity and take your art-making skills further…

The weekly art studio sessions allow you to explore your ideas and make fresh work in a fun and inspiring environment.

The Fine Art Room studio sessions centre around a set brief which takes place over two weeks – previous assignments have invited artists to respond to a still life arrangement, a specific theme, a particular way of working or their own interests and research.

Artists then work on their pieces over two sessions, creating drawings, paintings, collage or mixed media pieces. You can make a number of works or focus on a single piece over the two sessions. You can also submit your work to our online gallery and see work by other artists taking part in the assignment.

Please note, due to venue restrictions, paintings can only be made using acrylic or watercolour.
